The senior kids group called Prabhat are performing on a composition again by Pt Ravi Shankar known as PRARAMBH. As always the dance has taken shape over the weekend classes in the last two months. In Guruji’s words ” the song whispers it’s meaning which is then expressed in the dance”. The song may convey a different meaning to different people just like a painting or haiku. While the younger groups learn the dance, Guruji encourages the Prabhat students to understand the meaning and assist in choreography. It would have been much easier and less chaotic to just teach them the steps, but the learning process stands more important than the final presentation.
